Remember that places like the Salvation Army and your local Food Pantry help those in need, from the homeless to the kids in your class at school (if you're still in school), whose parents both work two jobs and barely make the rent. Remember those people this holiday season, and even if you can't help them financially, greet them with a friendly smile and a warm hug or handshake. Let the people you care about the most know how you feel, because you never know how long you have with them.
Christmas isn't all about giving and getting presents, its about friends, family, love, and happiness. So many people of this generation don't realize or remember that. I don't understand why, maybe its just because I was raised in a family that didn't have a lot of money, yet always tried to help out when we could, but I always try to remember to be grateful for what I have and who I have. I hope each and every person reading this passes it on to at least one person they care about. Let the people around you know that you love them, folks. Because without them, you wouldn't be the person you are today. Everybody around you helps shape that with the love they have for you.
Merry Christmas. If you read this, even if you have no idea who I am, I hope you have a safe, wonderful, warm, happy season.
Rick
